Prerequisite: Algebra 1 (passed or currently passing)
This is a
two-year program beginning in 11th grade that trains students to work with young children or the elderly. Daily hands-on involvement with infants, toddlers, preschool and kindergarten children, as well with senior citizens, is provided at off-campus sites. Students choose to work and acquire skills with a variety of age levels from infancy to geriatrics. A background check and interview are required prior to admission.
