- Recess Rocks!
Greetings everyone. I had a booth at Recess Rocks this year to promote this years Jump Rope for Heart event. I was right by the American Heart Association booth. i had many visitors to my booth. Thank you for stopping by those of you that did. I was able to see my former students from other buildings and meet some ot the students I will have at Grant when I go there. The date for this years event is Saturday February 11th for 4th and 5th graders. The time is 9-11 in the morning at LHS in the East Gym. Save the date cards were passed out at Recess Rocks. If you received one, please mark the date on your calendar. - OAHPERD State Convention
I am pleased to announce that I will be representing Lakewood at my state convention in Columbus in December presenting on Jump Rope for Heart and how we do our district event. I will be presenting on Friday December 2nd along with Michael Long from the American Heart Association. You can see us both on Sunday 9/25 at Recess Rocks at Lakewood Park. We will be at booths close to each other. My booth will be promoting Jump Rope for Heart. Come by and meet us and say hi.
