  • In second grade, we have been learning about portraiture. We started out by learning how to draw the face, facial features, and hair. We created our own realistic self-portraits then colored them with crayon. Next, we studied the artwork of Pablo Picasso and created our own abstract portraits. We used oil pastel and watercolor to create our own abstract masterpieces!
