ADULT LITERACY PROGRAM PAYS OFF FOR MORE THAN A HUNDRED
The success of the district's growing Adult Basic Literacy and Education program (ABLE), administered by the Recreation and Community Education Department, was on display recently as more than 100 adults of all ages receivede their G.E.D. at a ceremony late last month.

The program has continued to grow over the years as more people become aware of its benefits and as the recession has forced more people to re-assess their skills. This year, the ABLE/ESOL program served more than 300 learners. Classes are available both day and evening at their Emerson Elementary and Grace Lutheran Church locations. Call 216-529-4240 for more information.
