Who will be the next winner? Each week until the end of the year classrooms have some friendly competition to see who can do the most nightly reading. Be sure to log all of the time your kids are reading so it is counted for their class.
If you need some new books, be sure to drop into the Book Fair happening in the Grant LRC the week of April 28th - May 2nd.

Meet the President
If you have ever thought about getting involved in the PTA and felt too shy to just show up to a meeting, maybe you’d feel better if you knew our fearless leader.
Let me introduce Rachel Vuyancih! Rachel has been at Grant Elementary for 7 years now and has been active with the PTA for most of that time. This is her first year as president and is eager to have a great year.
If you have seen her around school you already know she is sweet and approachable. I promise she will make you feel welcome at all of the meetings. Rachel knows everyone’s lives are different and some of us can only donate a small amount of time so you will not be pressured to take on anything.
